California Property Tools is a simple, fast, free California property tax calculator. It improves on generic calculators by using your purchase price and purchase year together with the official historical Proposition 13 inflation factors and a county-level estimated tax rate — rather than assuming a flat 2% increase every year.

The calculator itself runs entirely in your browser. No account, login, address lookup, or database is required, and your financial inputs — your purchase price and any assessed value you enter — are never sent to a server. We don't require accounts and we don't sell your data. The site is free and supported by ads: we use Google Consent Mode, so analytics and ad cookies are set only according to your consent choice — until you accept, non-essential cookies stay “denied.” See our Privacy Policy and the “Privacy choices” link in the footer to change it anytime.
